For clients with a specific deadline or swim season in mind, we begin by building a project timeline that works backward from your desired swim date. This allows us to establish a clear and realistic schedule from the very beginning, so both our team and your family understand what decisions need to be made, and when, to stay on track.

This approach helps set expectations early. In many cases, we can tell you right from the start whether swimming this season is realistic, and if it is, what timeline needs to be maintained to achieve it.

Ultimately, timelines depend on two key factors: project complexity and staying on schedule throughout the process.

Typical Construction Timelines:

• Fiberglass Pool (Pool Only): approximately 2 weeks
• Fiberglass Pool + Decking & Features: typically 4–8 weeks

In addition to construction, most projects require time for design, permitting, and scheduling, which can add several weeks to a month depending on the scope and locality.

Our goal is always to get as many families swimming in a season as possible. When that timeline isn’t realistic, we focus on ensuring your project is ready to enjoy on day one of the following swim season.

One of the biggest challenges homeowners face when comparing pool companies is understanding what’s actually included, and what’s not.

In this industry, it’s not uncommon for initial estimates to leave out key components of the project. Things like tile, coping, utilities, or even proper site work are sometimes treated as add-ons or allowances, which can lead to unexpected costs or complications later in the process.

Site work is especially important. When not handled properly, excavated soil can be reused incorrectly around the pool, creating unstable conditions for patios and hardscapes. Over time, this can lead to settling, shifting, and even trip hazards, particularly in high-traffic areas around the pool.

We are a truly turnkey builder, meaning we focus on delivering a complete, ready-to-enjoy outdoor space, not just a portion of the project.

Our fiberglass pool projects are designed to include everything necessary for a successful and long-lasting installation, including:

Fiberglass Pools

We primarily offer fiberglass pools from Latham Pools and Imagine Pools, two of the most respected manufacturers in the industry.

• Latham Pools is one of the largest and most established pool manufacturers in North America, known for a wide variety of designs, advanced manufacturing processes, and a strong reputation for long-term durability.
• Imagine Pools is recognized for its innovative composite construction, vibrant finishes, and modern pool designs that combine style with strength.
  
  

Both manufacturers offer proven products with thoughtfully designed features, giving homeowners a range of options without sacrificing quality.

Pool Equipment

For pool equipment, we primarily use Hayward.

We’ve consistently found Hayward products to be reliable, easy to service, and well-supported. Just as important, their representatives are responsive and helpful in the rare event that something needs attention.

That said, we understand that some homeowners may have preferences, and we are always open to incorporating alternative equipment brands when appropriate.

Tile, Hardscapes, and Finishes

For pool tile, we commonly work with NPT (National Pool Tile) and Aquabella Tile, both known for high-quality materials and a wide range of styles.

Across all other elements, whether it’s hardscaping, masonry, or carpentry, we’ve developed a core set of trusted materials and manufacturers that we rely on for both quality and consistency.

The outdoor living industry offers an overwhelming number of material options. While that may sound appealing, it often leads to decision fatigue, delays, and unnecessary complexity during the design process.

To simplify that experience, we’ve intentionally curated a selection of materials that we know and trust, products that perform well, look great, and are backed by reliable service.

We trust these materials not just for how they look, but for how they hold up over time, and for the people behind them.

Because of that, you can move forward with confidence knowing that every product we recommend has been carefully vetted for quality, reliability, and long-term performance.

All pools require regular care, but fiberglass pools are known for being one of the easiest types of pools to maintain.

Like any pool, you’ll need to:

• Maintain proper water chemistry
• Clean debris and occasionally vacuum the pool
• Perform basic filter and equipment maintenance
  
  

The advantage of fiberglass is its smooth, non-porous surface, which helps resist algae growth and reduces the need for frequent brushing. There’s also no plaster finish to maintain or resurface over time, making long-term upkeep simpler and more forgiving for busy homeowners.

While some homeowners choose professional service, many are comfortable maintaining a fiberglass pool on their own.

At Outdoor Dreams, we stand behind both the products we install and the workmanship of our team.

Fiberglass Pool Shell

Fiberglass pool shells are manufactured with long-term durability in mind and are typically backed by a lifetime structural warranty from the manufacturer. This protects against structural failure of the shell under normal conditions.

Equipment & Materials

Pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems, is covered by manufacturer warranties, which typically range from 1 to 3 years depending on the product.

Outdoor Dreams Workmanship Warranty

In addition to manufacturer coverage, Outdoor Dreams provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on our installation. This covers the quality of our construction, including installation of the pool, equipment, and associated components.

Our Approach to Warranty

We view warranty not just as a document, but as part of our commitment to long-term quality and service.

Because we focus on proper planning, installation, and material selection from the beginning, warranty issues are rare, but when they do arise, our team is responsive and committed to making it right.

Waterline tile is not required for fiberglass pools.

Unlike gunite pools, where tile is necessary to protect the plaster finish at the waterline, fiberglass pools have a finished shell surface that does not require tile for performance or durability.

That said, we often recommend waterline tile for aesthetic reasons. It adds a refined, high-end look and creates a clean visual transition at the water’s edge. Because of this, we typically include tile in our initial pricing, while keeping it completely optional.

If you prefer a simpler look or are working within a specific budget, tile can easily be removed from the scope. And if you’d like to add it later, having it included in your original estimate gives you a clear understanding of what to plan for.

We offer a curated selection of tile from trusted manufacturers like Aquabella Tile and NPT (National Pool Tile), both known for quality materials and a wide range of styles.

To simplify the selection process, Outdoor Dreams has developed a list of recommended tile options for each pool shell color we offer, for both fiberglass and gunite pools.

These recommendations are carefully chosen to complement:

• The pool shell color
